The spacious Textile Studio provides a workspace and resources for a variety of textile arts such as quilting, sewing and printmaking projects. The studio is open for project work during business hours as well as the second and third Tuesday evenings of each month.
The Studio offers classes to help you develop artistic techniques in sewing, quilting, weaving, knitting, crochet and more.
Our Textile Studio was a recipient of a North Carolina Arts Council Spark the Arts grant through which allowed us to refurbish our studio, provide new tools and equipment, and programming. Come see what the studio has to offer!

How To Access the Studio
The Textile Studio is free to use during regularly scheduled hours unless there is a class in session. There is no fee for the use of any of our tools or equipment. Some materials are available to use for your projects free of charge – follow the directions within the studio.
Some activities such as printmaking have materials that are available only by purchase such as linoleum blocks, acrylic plates, specialty papers, etc. Of course you are always welcome to bring your own materials!
While there is no fee we do suggest a donation of five dollars to help support the maintenance, replacement of supplies, and continued availability of the space. There are donation boxes and QR codes available within the space or you may support the space by clicking the button.
