Artisan Gallery
The Stecoah Artisans Gallery offers a unique opportunity to buy original artwork as well as the fine crafts that have made North Carolina famous. There is a wide variety of traditional and contemporary works: paintings, pottery, weaving, wood-turned items, glass works, photography, note cards, jewelry, soaps, quilts, books and much more.
Drive About
Twice a year the Stecoah Valley Center organizes an Arts & Crafts Dive About. We invite you to travel through our ancient Cherokee lands to see new crafts. Our next Drive About is November 28 & 29, 2025.
STUDIOS AND GALLERIES ON THE ARTS & CRAFTS DRIVE-ABOUT TOURS
Textile Studio
The spacious Textile Studio provides a workspace and resources for a variety of textile arts such as quilting, sewing and printmaking projects. The studio is open for project work during business hours.
Classes
Stecoah Valley Center offers a variety of adult classes from basket making, various textile arts, printmaking and culinary workshops. Prices and hours vary – please note class details including registration deadlines. Sign up early to help ensure sufficient enrollment is met.
Community
Schoolhouse Fiber Friends
Every 3rd Tuesday
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Each month we host a fiber friends group at the Stecoah Valley Center. The Event is free to the public.
Blue Ridge Craft Trails
Stecoah is proud to be a part of the Blue Ridge Craft Trail through our Artisan Gallery, Textile Studio, arts and crafts classes as well as our annual festivals.
