Terry Baucom of Monroe, NC is music royalty as his band’s name implies. A multi IBMA Award winner and founding member of some of the most recognizable bands in bluegrass – Boone Creek, Doyle Lawson and Quick Silver, and IIIrd Tyme Out – he has had a legendary career as a banjo player and is arguably one of the most influential players of his generation. Terry was inducted into the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
The Dukes of Drive include members Will Clark (mandolin), Clint Coker (guitar) and Joe Hannaback (bass). The band’s latest album, Here in the Country recently debuted at #4 on the Bluegrass Today Charts and the single of the same name topped the charts last year. Come on out and hear the ‘Drive’.
