The piano rarely plays a prominent part in Appalachian or Americana music and is seldom the lead instrument. Jeff Little is an exception – and a remarkable one. His distinctive two-handed style, much influenced by the mountain flat-picked guitar tradition, is breathtaking in its speed, precision, and clarity. He was inducted into the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame in 2014.
Jeff is joined by Steve Lewis (guitar/banjo) who has won many championships including two time national banjo champion. Jeff’s son, Luke Little (mandolin), rounds out the trio. Jeff knows how to please a crowd and effortlessly engages his audience; the acoustics and intimate setting of our auditorium make this one a don’t miss evening.
