Experiments in Printmaking: Collagraphs

Let’s get inky! We are very excited to bring the art of printmaking into our newly remodeled textile studio. To celebrate we will be offering a series of classes meant to explore different printmaking processes. What better way to start than to begin with collagraphs, arguably the most accessible form of printmaking. Collagraphy is a no limits printmaking process – ripe for experimentation with materials, textures, and colors. In this workshop you will create a printing plate from recycled cardboard and other textured materials and scraps. Whether you choose to work representationally or abstractly you’ll enjoy an evening of creative play!
