DATE CHANGED TO SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23. When you make a cornhusk doll with Laura Walkingstick, you’re creating a narrative work. Her Masters in Art Therapy paired with her love for textile objects, materials, and jewelry opens the door for you to experience doll making from a different perspective. Dollmaking materials are provided: cornhusk, charms, hair, beads, feathers, extra decorations, and doll stands. Students may also bring square fabric pieces and accessories of their choosing. People often bring sentimental items such as broken jewelry pieces, cloth pieces, or earrings missing their matches.
Registration Deadline: Thursday, November 21, 2024
