DESCRIPTION:When you make a cornhusk doll with Laura Walkingstick\, you’re creating a narrative work. Her Masters in Art Therapy paired with her love for textile objects\, materials\, and jewelry opens the door for you to experience doll making from a different perspective. For this Christmas season\, make a tree topper that tells a story\, a story that can be told and retold as the years roll on. Dollmaking materials are provided: cornhusk\, charms\, hair\, beads\, feathers\, extra decorations\, and doll stands. Students may also bring square fabric pieces and accessories of their choosing.
