DESCRIPTION:For September 16th’s Community Night\, you are invited to make cards that really pop out at you! Blair Collins leads in assembling and personalizing Stampin’ Up!© pop-up cards. It’s only $10 for two cards\, and it’s fun for all ages.  Class includes two cards. Pay $5 directly to the instructor on the night of the class for two more. Just indicate on your registration that you’d like the extras.  \nSign up by September 16. Maximum 6 people in class. SUMMARY:Pysanky Egg Painting
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: Class takes place in three sessions on March 12\, 14 & 16 from 2-4 pm.  \nJoin in on the discovery of creating or “writing” Pysanky eggs. They are the beautiful\, colorful detailed Easter eggs originating in the Ukraine culture and date back through the centuries. We are offering a workshop over 3 afternoons in March\, exploring the history\, symbolism and techniques of writing Pysanka. (“Writing” is what the process of creating them is called) The main focus will be on learning the process of writing and dying your own Pysanky to enjoy in your home for years to come. \nWorkshops will include a kit of basic tools and materials for creating your own eggs to take home with you. The eggs will be pre-blown and ready for you to complete your designs. Patterns and design samples as well as pre-mixed dyes will be provided by the teacher.  Note- The dyes do stain\, so wear appropriate clothes and/or an apron. Neoprene or latex gloves come in handy for handling the wet dyes and dyed eggs\, so bring some if you wish to use them. \nCome join in on the fun! \nRegistration Deadline: Saturday\, March 9\, 2024
