DESCRIPTION:The 2016 IBMA Fiddler and Female Vocalist and the 2018 IBMA Banjo Player have combined their musical wit and whimsy with the aim to entertain you in a bluegrass duo sort of way!  \nBecky Buller has written songs for three Grammy award-winning albums by Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway; The Travelin’ McCourys; and the Infamous Stringdusters\, as well as compositions for Bluegrass legends Rhonda Vincent\, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver\, and many more. The Becky Buller Band (of which Ned is a member) is a frequent guest on WSM’s Grand Ole Opry. Her album\, Distance And Time\, was a 2021 IBMA Album Of The Year award nominee. She is a 10-time IBMA award winner and records for the Dark Shadow Recording label. The new album\, Jubilee\, releases in May 2024. Becky also serves on the boards of the IBMA Foundation and the East Tennessee State University Alumni Association and teaches private music lessons from her home studio in Manchester\, Tenn. Most importantly\, she’s Jeff’s wife and Romy’s mama.  \nNed Luberecki was inducted into the Banjo Hall Of Fame in 2024! He is the 2023 IBMA Broadcaster Of The Year\, so named for being one of our favorite voices on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s Bluegrass Junction\, heading up Saturday’s “Derailed” show and “More Banjo Sunday”\, which includes the ever-popular “Sunday Banjo Lesson”. He and the Bluegrass Junction team received a 2016 IBMA Distinguished Achievement award. Ned is an internationally recognized banjo guru: he teaches online lessons\, has a series of banjo instructional videos with TrueFire and a series of books with Alfred Publishing. DESCRIPTION:Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan first found themselves onstage together at the 2014 Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City. Rose’s band Burning Bridget Cleary was scheduled to perform\, but inclement weather prevented two of her bandmates from flying. Desperate to salvage the showcase\, Rose approached Brian\, who she knew fronted Canadian Celtic rock band Enter the Haggis. She thrust a guitar into Brian’s hands\, pulled him onstage\, and the two just clicked. \nFour years and hundreds of shows later\, the duo was booked to play a closing slot at a Colorado festival\, so they hired a bass player and drummer to fill out their sound. By the oddest of coincidences\, their hired bandmates’ flights were canceled the day of the show. A frantic Facebook post introduced Brian and Rose to local musician Caroline Browning\, who joined them on bass for the weekend. DESCRIPTION:The piano rarely plays a prominent part in Appalachian or Americana music and is seldom the lead instrument. Jeff Little is an exception – and a remarkable one. His distinctive two-handed style\, much influenced by the mountain flat-picked guitar tradition\, is breathtaking in its speed\, precision\, and clarity.  Jeff Little is an award-winning musician from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. \nJeff\, as well as his trio\, stay busy traveling the country performing concerts with an energy and dedication to their music that is evident at every show. Performances include The Smithsonian Institution\, The National Folk Festival\, American Piano Masters\, The Barns of Wolf Trap and many theatres\, performing arts centers\, and festivals. Jeff has been featured on National Public Radio and PBS many times and has also taken his music around the world for the US Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs performing in Sri Lanka\, Bahrain\, Pakistan\, Oman\, France and Tanzania. In 2014 Jeff was inducted into the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame. In addition\, Jeff is Artist in Residence for the Popular Music Program at Catawba College in Salisbury\, NC.  \nJeff is joined by Steve Lewis (guitar/banjo) who is one of the most respected acoustic musicians in the country. Steve is well known for his flat picking on guitar and his mastery of the five – string banjo. Steve has won many championships for his guitar and banjo playing. Some of the prestigious events include the Walnut Valley Nationals\, Merlefest\, the Galax Old Time Fiddlers Convention\, Renofest and the Wayne Henderson Guitar Competition. In addition\, Steve has won the national championship on acoustic guitar and is also a two-time national champion on the banjo. \nJeff’s son\, Luke Little (Mandolin)\, rounds out the trio. Luke Little is a very talented mandolin player who is recognized for his accomplished musicianship and style.
