Hailing from Silver City, NC, Nu-Blu’s heart and soul are husband and wife Daniel and Carolyn Routh whose golden voice goes easily from tender lullaby to thundering freight train. The backbone of the band is Daniel, multi-talented musician, and vocalist. The quartet’s warm, layered American roots sound is rounded out by Austin Heffelfinger on banjo and Justin Harrison on fiddle/mandolin.
The band has made four IBMA appearances and is known for its collaborations including ‘Soul Man’ Sam Moore, Rhonda Vincent, and Becky Buller.
